Jay's Friend Larry Passed Away

We know a couple that left a good impression in our hearts. Jan and Larry were a happily married couple for over 50 years. They displayed kindness one towards another, which overflowed onto others in our community. Their duty at the Lake Huron Church, they did the yard work for a while. And Larry was one of the Pastors, who often ministered to us, on Sunday morning. One time we saw them at the 4th of July Fireworks, in Tawas City. Larry asked if they could possibly join us, to watch the fireworks exhibit. We gladly accepted, their respectable Christian presence was truly a blessing. About 10 years ago, Larry was diagnosed with Parkinson's Disease. They were able to live in their own home, during this time while he took care of Jan. She suffered a stroke in the summer of 2023. It saddened my heart, to read that Larry passed away on June 10th, 2024. He was a caring man, husband, father and friend, for many years. Photo: Mine
