I found the races.

Halfway through the season, NBC replaces Fox for who airs the race. So, finding this week's race had been a task and a half. I obviously managed, but it hadn't been easy. George's happy, even if he did doze before I found it. Either way, I'm happy. I'm not much for races, but I know they mean a lot to George. So I'm happy to watch for him, or at the very least, put them on while I do other things.
So far, our Sunday is going well.

That is good that you watch the race for George. When I first started watching races, I was really into it, and watched the whole race, Thru time I watched Most of the race, then when Tony Stewart left, I played games on my computer while the race was one. When Jr left, I left. I picked Kyle Larson as a winner when he first started out. I told Tom he was gonna win big time one day. Chase Elliott is another good one..but just not interested anymore. They are changing the tracks, changing the rules, changing the race...and the cars are not really STOCK cars anymore. But I do keep an eye on Larson and Elliott. LOL

They have to change things up to keep fans interested. So, I get it.

@kaylachan Yeah, but sometimes fans quit watching BECAUSE of the changes. I am on a FB page on NASCAR and so many complaints on the way the race it run. But I guess that is why they keep changing things.

@Ghostlady Yes. You can't please everyone. Changing things is a gamble. You risk losing old-time fans, but you also benifit from gaining new ones. I'd say, this is George's second year back, but he found he didn't really have the time or desire to watch when he had an inconsistant work schedule. He's on his second year of retirement which helps.
