Thanks to the teamwork of the Massachusetts Society for the Prevention and Cruelty to Animals Angell Office (MSPCA) and firefighters teamed up to rescue an eight year old Lipizzaner gelding named Valcour fell down from down through the floor of his stable in his stable and was trapped between floors on Tuesday June 4
Teamwork between the Ipswich Fire Department, SRH Veterinary Services and the Northeast Massachusetts Technical Team were able to get the horse out of his trouble spot in about four hours.
The good news is that Valcour is in good condition and did not suffer any serious injuries in the accident.

I agree with @celticeagle. The stable should not have gotten to that condition. I"m glad the horse was rescued.

The owners of that horse should be ashamed of themselves. Letting the stable get that out of repair and causing their horse to have this happen to them.

I am in agreement with you that the owners of the stable ought to be ashamed of themselves.

Glad he was rescued and in good condition but I am sure the horse got quite a fright, Horses are heavy animals they should not have put him in such a stable, He should have been on the ground floor,

The horse had a few bumps from the fall.

That is one unusual event, and it looks like a weird sculpture, with the horse legs hanging from the roof like that.
I am sure the horse would have been stressed by the event, especially it taking 4 hours to rescue him.
A good result in the end though, it seems.

The horse was stressed when he was in trouble indeed.
