Oldie But Goodie

We decided to not take a chance on the Chicken and Dumplins tonight. I fixed a dish I have not fixed in quite a while. I cut up kilbalsa type Sausage, half an Onion, and half a head of Cabbage. Cooked the Sausage with the Onion and a Tablespoon of minced Garlic, Boiled some Wide Egg Noodles. Added the Cabbage to the Sausage..let it cook while the Noodles cooked. Put butter on the garlic sticks. Noodles done..add to the Cabbage, Sausage, etc. then added a jar of Alfredo Sauce (Walmart Brand). Cooked it while the Garlic Bread Sticks baked..Just can not get used to that Hot Toaster Oven..Kind of Burned the garlic sticks. Guess next time I will turn the degrees down. They weren't even in there 5 min. Anyway, I had forgotten how good this dish is. When I first made it I only had the cabbage, sausage and onion/garlic and Noodles. Tom said I should maybe try the Alfredo sauce with it, and I did the next time, and have ever since.

I used a jar of mushroom garlic sauce and added chicken. We had it with rice and beans.

I've never had sausage with Alfredo sauce. Sounds interesting. Have a good weekend.
