A Perplexing Problem

I have a perplexing problem while typing on the internet. My arm touches something and deletes everything. I can not figure out what is going on. I typed up a bit of nonsense and tried every key to see if that was the one my right arm touched. I cannot make it disappear but if I am just typing, I have to keep starting over and over.
Does this happen to you? Have you figured out why that happens?
Do you have any puzzling internet problems that you cannot solve? I hope you can share it with us and tell us how you tried to fix it

@akalinus It was different in my desktop. Each button had a single letter.I have never heard of a button having three letters.I can imagine how difficult it was for you to type.Do you still have the same computer??

Computers make writing simpler than it was without them. i wrote everything out by hand and typed it on an old portable typewriter. I had to mess with mistakes and rearranging. I remember cutting my pages into sections and pasting or stapling them down in a new arrangement and then retyping. Carbon paper was my worst enemy.
Along came the desktop and then the laptop. It made it easier to delete everything at once. Such an improvement???

@just4him Yes, even the portable typewriter had ribbon problems, carbon paper nightmares, and incompetence by the user, me.
I did not say anything about tangled or stuck keys or just broken ones. I had a T missing on an old typewriter. Did you ever notice how often we use that letter? Sometimes, I think progress should kiss my glass.

Not that, but sometimes I accidentally end up deleting a discussion on mylot and not sure how. My current internet problem is my windows based computer suddenly doesn't want to recognize my wifi connection. The adapter was supposed to be fixing itself but it didn't.

Do you mean a discussion when you are writing it? I often find it again if I just press the discussion tab. It is right there and does not erase.
Did you try resetting the wifi or sign back into it? Most home-based wifis require a password. Perhaps you are off a number or letter. Is this for a smartphone or a landline?

I haven't had any problems recently (knock on wood). I don't know what would cause yours. Have a good day.

How strange! I don't know how that can happen. However there have been times when I've written out entire discussions on myLot and ZAP - somehow my entire post disappears before I have a chance to save or submit it. It hasn't happened in a long time though.1 person likes this

That has happened to me too. Just disappears and can't discover what key it was. I really get annoyed having to start over!
Oh well, the mysteries of life as they say...
