I thought this plant was dying

This plant is over 25 years old. The characeristics of a ficus plant as I have now learnt is that it completely dies but suddenly comes to life as it happened to the plant in the picture.
We have several of these and I patiently wait for them to resurrect although in a dead state they spoil the look of the garden
Would you uproot plants that spoil the look of your garden but eventually come to life?

I have some I don't like how they die like they do & when they
come back to life I never see their blooms cause they don't
last very long so yes I 'm replanting plants that will bloom
better than others & taring out those that aren't as blooming.

@allknowing I just read online they like warm tropical weather.
When I had mine in Fla it grew so fast & was spawning babies it was
crazy but I was raising rabbits & fertilized it every other month too.

@2ndchances24 You must be having something out there that grows well in the kind of weather that you are experiencing
Initially our garden had lots of seasonal flowers you name it and it was there but after the pandemic I let the wild trees grow as I was more interested in the greenery that would bring in oxygen.

@allknowing I thought so cause I use to have them in Fla when we lived there
they are such a cool plant I wish I could have some here in Indiana, but I don't
think they can handle the cold winters we have here.

I suppose if the plant has no hope for survival then it has ot be uprooted.

Leaves are the only things that this palm and surely leaves have to die one day before new ones come up
