I was a little off yesterday

Physically I felt fine yesterday, but in other ways I was a little off. We had been told, almost a month ago, that we were receiving another insurance settlement check for depreciation, or something. We have been waiting, and watching. It was that check that was enabling us to take a vacation. It was getting close to departure, and it had not come. I was getting heartsick about it. Last night at supper time we realized something. Like a good postal citizen, Bob had gone to the post office Monday to put a hold on or mail starting Friday. We had not gotten any mail since. He got up and went to the post office this morning and checked. They had already started holding our mail. Our check was sitting there. Aargh!! He is off doing banking right now. It is a relief. All that worry. I am glad we realized what was going on. Now I can just do normal worrying and planning for the trip.
