Traditional watch offers a sense of craftsmanship . Most feel traditional watches are more appealing for all occassions and clothing preferences. Plus, for many, traditional watches are something we got acquainted from childhood and hence many prefer traditional watches. Smartwatches are go to for many technology lovers as there are many features and versatile. Fitness tracking is also a big plus with smartwatches . So what is your preference : smartwatch or traditional watch?

I prefer the traditional watch since it is easier for me to see the hands on the clock than seeing the numbers on the screen.

Well,we all have preferences . We can quickly intepret the clock hands as we are acquainted with same from childhood. Plus, looking at the screen at time strains the eyes. Thanks for sharing!

I have not worn a watch in years. These days there seems to be no practical use for one. The time is EVERYWHERE. On buildings, inside the car, on your phone. It's just not like it used to be when the only way to know what time it was when you were out and about was on your wrist.

@RevivedWarrior People will still wear them and buy them, though. I see a lot of people wearing them, smart ones or not.

That's so true. Time is shown everywhere. From cars to laptops , time is now a defacto item shown. We do not need even watches when we have the smartphone with us. Thanks for sharing!

I have a tradicional watch that I use when I go out. Usually I use my laptop screen. As for a smartwatch, I don“t have the money to buy one.

Smartwatch is only required, if we are utilizing all or most of its features. Else, it is traditional watch all around. With smartphones around, we are looking less on watches for time. Thanks for sharing!

I've always been a techie. I've never been able to use a tradational watch. When I was a kid, I used a talking watch, which for the time, was as smart as they come. Now I have an Apple watch, and it's nice knowing that I don't have to pull my phone out everytime I need to do something. I know that I'm getting an important notification when I hear certian sounds. And know if I ned to look or not. If I want a more classic watch face to give the illusion of your tradational watch, I can put two fingers on the screen and hear the time. I also like that if I needed to make my watch look like a tradational watch for business purposes, I could put on a band to mwatch. However, Smartwatches have become such a staple in modorn society, that even professionals wear them. So, I might just stick to my light purple band and my colorful watch faces.
