scar? Okay, my guy friend was over to help me with a couple of things I can't handle. I mean, I guess I could've figured it out... but why? I don't remember exactly what we were doing and he suddenly was distracted by something on the inside of my upper left arm. I look over and he's got a finger kind of tracing something... Oh... "That's where they took the skin for the skin graft," I told him. "What?" He paused poking at it to look at me. "The skin graft." "When..." he started. "He took 2 and put one here," I kind of waved my right hand in the general direction of the underside of my right breast. "And the other was green." "What?" I looked at him brightly. "Was it supposed to be green?" he asked. "What do you think?" I asked. He cringed and looked away. "I'm sorry..." he started. "Well, ya know, there are things. When I saw it I said: "I don't think I wanted to see that." The doctor, leaned forward and looked at it. "That was unfortunate," he said. Now, a couple of months shy of 26 years it doesn't bother me that it happened. I wish I could say the image isn't seared in my memory so I do my best to not remember it. It was more than just green, it was fuzzy and green and it was a hole right next to my left nipple. (Now I have shared that with all of you, your welcome.) I just have so many scars i barely notice little things like where he took a couple of strips of skin all those years ago. How about you? you have some scars to share?
