You have all probably heard stories of bears and mountain lions who come down into our towns to forage for food when their food reserves have been overrun with housing developments. But it's not the bear or the mountain lion that is the most dangerous. It is the mosquito. They are responsible for approximately 700,000 deaths a year. They carry dangerous and deadly diseases such as Malaria, Zika, West Nile Virus and Dengue. It is estimated that 86% of these deaths are from Malaria.

@celticeagle They gave me malaria once. Of course humans too need to be up there as a most dangerous enemy of humanity.

I'm inside most of the time. I see maybe one mosquito each year.

I did not know that the mosquito kills more humans than bears and other animals.
