Jay Needs New Tires on His Bike

Jay is thinking seriously about putting some new tires on his bicycle. The ones he presently has don't have much tread left. This chances having a flat tire.
To put this in English, they are fairly smooth. Yes, this does affect his bike riding, especially if he suddenly needs to stop. Applying the brakes will put him into a skid.
I don't know anything about the price, he keeps track of those figures. I have no idea what the cost will be. When we go to the bicycle shop, I'll soon find out.
My bicycle barely ever gets ridden, it looks like the first day we purchased it! Jay keeps it oiled, greased and its tires aired up, those are the main things.
When will we be going to the bike shop in Saginaw? I really don't know.

Actually, Jay usually rides on a sidewalk or gravel. He doesn't move very fast.
