Day 164 – Boundaries Numbers 34:1 Then JEHOVAH spoke to Moses, saying, 2 “Command the children of Israel, and say to them, ‘When you come into the land of Canaan, this is the land that will fall to you as an inheritance—the land of Canaan to its boundaries. 3 Your southern border will be from the Wilderness of Zin along the border of Edom; then your southern border will extend eastward to the end of the Salt Sea; 4 your border will turn from the southern side of the Ascent of Akrabbim, continue to Zin, and be on the south of Kadesh Barnea; then it will go on to Hazar Addar, and continue to Azmon; 5 the border will turn from Azmon to the Brook of Egypt, and it will end at the Sea. 6 ‘As for the western border, you will have the Great Sea for a border; this will be your western border. 7 ‘This will be your northern border: From the Great Sea you will mark out your border line to Mount Hor; 8 'from Mount Hor you will mark out your border to the entrance of Hamath; then the direction of the border will be toward Zedad; 9 the border will proceed to Ziphron, and it will end at Hazar Enan. This will be your northern border. 10 ‘You will mark out your eastern border from Hazar Enan to Shepham; 11 the border will go down from Shepham to Riblah on the east side of Ain; the border will go down and reach to the eastern side of the Sea of Chinnereth; 12 the border will go down along the Jordan, and it will end at the Salt Sea. This will be your land with its surrounding boundaries.’” 13 Then Moses commanded the children of Israel, saying, “This is the land which you will inherit by lot, which JEHOVAH has commanded to give to the nine tribes and to the half-tribe. 14 For the tribe of the children of Reuben according to the house of their fathers, and the tribe of the children of Gad according to the house of their fathers, have received their inheritance; and the half-tribe of Manasseh has received its inheritance. 15 The two tribes and the half-tribe have received their inheritance on this side of the Jordan, across from Jericho eastward, toward the sunrise.” 16 And JEHOVAH spoke to Moses, saying, 17 “These are the names of the men who will divide the land among you as an inheritance: Eleazar the priest and Joshua the son of Nun. 18 And you will take one leader of every tribe to divide the land for the inheritance. 19 “These are the names of the men: from the tribe of Judah, Caleb the son of Jephunneh; 20 from the tribe of the children of Simeon, Shemuel the son of Ammihud; 21 from the tribe of Benjamin, Elidad the son of Chislon; 22 a leader from the tribe of the children of Dan, Bukki the son of Jogli; 23 from the sons of Joseph: a leader from the tribe of the children of Manasseh, Hanniel the son of Ephod, 24 and a leader from the tribe of the children of Ephraim, Kemuel the son of Shiphtan; 25 a leader from the tribe of the children of Zebulun, Elizaphan the son of Parnach; 26 a leader from the tribe of the children of Issachar, Paltiel the son of Azzan; 27 a leader from the tribe of the children of Asher, Ahihud the son of Shelomi; 28 and a leader from the tribe of the children of Naphtali, Pedahel the son of Ammihud.” 29 These are the ones JEHOVAH commanded to divide the inheritance among the children of Israel in the land of Canaan. God’s name: JEHOVAH – Self-existent, Eternal Yeshuwa – Jesus Christos – Anointed One, Messiah Hagios – Most Holy Pneuma – Breath, Spirit, Holy Spirit Elohiym – Supreme God God’s character: Instructor When you buy property, you get a report of the boundaries for the property you intend to purchase. The report shows the details of each property line, so you know where the next property is located. JEHOVAH told Moses where the boundaries for the land He was giving to Israel were. Then He told Moses who the leaders for each tribe would be who would receive their allotment within those boundaries. When you accepted Yeshuwa as Savior and Lord, He gave you boundaries on where to preach the good news of the gospel of Yeshuwa Christos. Acts 1:8 “But you will receive power when the Hagios Pneuma has come upon you; and you will be witnesses to Me in Jerusalem, and in Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth.” Yeshuwa gave you every place you go as your boundary for preaching the gospel. Because it belongs to you, it doesn’t belong to Satan. He cannot cross over into your territory. He needs permission to cross the boundary JEHOVAH set in place for you. Job 1:6 Now there was a day when the sons of Elohiym came to present themselves before JEHOVAH, and Satan also came among them. 7 JEHOVAH said to Satan, “From where do you come?” Satan answered JEHOVAH and said, “From going to and fro on the earth, and from walking back and forth on it.” 8 Then JEHOVAH said to Satan, “Have you considered My servant Job, that there is none like him on the earth, a blameless and upright man, one who fears Elohiym and shuns evil?” 9 Satan answered JEHOVAH and said, “Does Job fear Elohiym for nothing? 10 Have You not made a hedge around him, around his household, and around everything he has on every side? You have blessed the work of his hands, and his possessions have increased in the land. 11 But now, stretch out Your hand and touch everything he has, and he will curse You to Your face!” 12 JEHOVAH said to Satan, “Behold, everything he has is in your power; only do not lay a hand on his person.” Satan went out from the presence of JEHOVAH. Deuteronomy 11:24 “Every place on which the sole of your foot treads will be yours: from the wilderness and Lebanon, from the river, the River Euphrates, even to the Western Sea, will be your territory. 25 No man will be able to stand against you; JEHOVAH your Elohiym will put the dread of you and the fear of you upon all the land where you tread, just as He has said to you. Joshua 1:3 “Every place the sole of your foot will tread upon I have given you, as I said to Moses. What are you waiting for? The world belongs to you. Yeshuwa gave it to you to preach the gospel. He gave the place where you live as yours free from Satan’s tactics against you. Nothing stands in your way to do JEHOVAH’S work. Don’t let Satan take what JEHOVAH gave you. Let’s pray: Father, help me to realize the scope of what You have given me, and that Satan has no authority in anything You gave me. Let me realize the boundary that exists between me and what Satan intends against me and that he can take nothing from me unless I give it to him through doubt and fear. Help me take back every place You gave me as rightfully mine, protected by Your covenant and the blood of Your Son. In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen.
