Weirdest Phone Call You've Ever Received

These days , some of us receive automated and spam calls thanks to cold calling and digital marketing. However, we also receive some weird calls and scammer calls as well. I recollect receiving a call every night for a week from a woman claiming that I am her boyfriend . I clearly stated its mistaken identity . At last she bought her father into call and I clearly told i am not her boyfriend, neither I know, seen her.Appreciate if these calls could be stopped. Felt very weird as how did she get my number in first place. So whats the weirdest phone call you've ever received.

Believe me, I sure won't answer anymore calls from numbers I don't know. Well learned lesson.

and once a lady call my number and start saying so many things ...

@RevivedWarrior You are right ! It was scary ... there is one sentence Hindi speaker use to say ...
"Na Jan na pehchaan" asking you whether you had food

That is very weird, and upsetting. I would have been quite freaked out.
The weirdest phone call I have ever gotten was from a psychiatric institute calling to talk to me about a guy with my last name (an unusual last name). He asked if I was related to Jason, and I said no. She really persisted in trying to link us, but I don’t have any Jason’s in my family. I think she was trying to find some familial support for him, and was striking out.

I got one yesterday, saying someone had lodged a complaint against me. Gave me a number to call, and the file number. I had no idea what she was talking about.

Yes, in later years, I have wondered if it was a scam or was it a mistaken identity as they should have figured that the voice is different.
