Restaurant week is coming up

Restaurant week is going to start soon here in NYC. A three-course dinner (appetizer, main course, and dessert) is $45/person + tax and tip. Drinks or coffee/tea not included. You can go to expensive restaurants and try their food without spending a fortune. It used to be somewhere in the upper $30s but still not a bad price. Downside is that Saturdays are excluded from restaurant week menus. And that is the day that hubby and I usually go out to eat. Not fair. Do you have something similar where you live?

Nothing that comes to mind. I'm sure there's something if I were to bother. But then again I live in Daytona. Home of Biketoberfest, speed weeks and Nascar.

I have no idea I don't go out by myself and have not heard anything about this, I can say that since NYC is my hometown if I were there I would take advantage of this if I had someone to go with me, I remember the days when mom and I loved to got out about twice a week and with cocktails and all we would pay a sum around that mentioned but that was in the late 1980s, Now I know that it would cost at least 100 or more,

That sounds a great price. I don't know of anything similar here.

We don't have anything like that here that I know of. Maybe in Cleveland. Have a good week.

Never heard of such a thing but it sounds like an interesting idea.

It is. I just hate that Saturdays are excluded. I guess that is when restaurants make the most money and that is why it is the way it is.
