Watched the Movie Captain Johnna

This was a wonderful story, about a little boy who'd lost 90% of his hearing.
It caused others to treat him badly, even though he was an intelligent child with a beautiful personality!
He met a man who had almost, the same problem to deal with. He was from another country, so because of his accent, he was treated badly by the people of their community. Prejudice!
When Johnna ran away, this man found him and saved his life. The views of town people were greatly changed, by this man's loving kindness towards Johnna.
He had been shunned and abused, even by the other children.
I loved this movie and I'd recommend it to anyone, who enjoys a good adventure story.

The jest of this movie, was the rejection of people because these two people were different.

@kobesbuddy ......That's a unique storyline. That doesn't usually happen. I looked it up and found it on eBay for $75. A little more than I am willing to pay for a movie. Does your DVD have Devil's Hill and The Journey on it?

The little boy is abused by his father. He eventually apologizes and tries to understand his son.
