Good afternoon from sunny, cooler Green Bay, Wisconsin. Right now, it's 78 F with a nice breeze. We're supposed to get to 80 F today, which will be less than the last few days. I have my patio door open. I wasn't here this morning for the Morning Brief, so this will need to do. The celebration started today. My friend told me she would bring the treat to Bible study, and I wasn't to bring it. Since she was driving, I couldn't argue. She got my favorite pie - lemon meringue from Perkins. I'm glad Perkins has their calories online. I also had a coupon from Mission BBQ for my free birthday sandwich. I had the moist brisket. I'm glad Mission BBQ also has their calories online. They also threw in a strawberry shortcake. I only had a banana for breakfast. I've also done the calorie count for the day. I won't or shouldn't have anything more to eat today. The rest of the pie is in the fridge and my friend also got muffins from Perkins. I haven't had one of those, but they're also in the fridge. No, it's not my birthday today. I've only started the celebration. My friend who brings me home from Bible study stopped at Hy-Vee so I could get bananas and a treat for tomorrow at Rock Painting. I got chocolate chip cookies. I hope I don't bring those home tomorrow. She also stopped at Mission BBQ so I could get the sandwich. I have one thing to say about the brisket sandwich - DELICIOUS! I got most of my steps this morning before I left for Bible study. While on the trail, I saw the beauty above. I almost missed it, but was walking with another person who saw it and told me to stop. I got several pictures of her. She didn't spook when I talked to her. I also got two cards from myLotters @Marylinda1225 and @juliaac. Thank you.
