Dehydration results in all kinds of discomforts - cramps, dry throat, itching, palpitation, burning during micturition. head ache ...the list is endless, Not realizing all these symptons are due to dehydration we tend to think thay are related to other illnesses and rush to doctors.
It is not just water but lack of fluids in general will lead to all those discomforts. A blood work will let you know what and how much to take.
Drinking enough water and the right kind of other fluids will remove all those discomforts.

Oh my God! What should I say? This discussion comes as a blessing to me because my wife as she shows some of these symptoms. And I thought because it might be releted to blood pressure level so we got it checked in a clinic nearby. But the BP level was okay. The doctor mentioned to us that you should have your hemoglobin level checked. We did that and it was in the region of 7.5 or something. That's a bit low. So we started having the intake of such fruits and vegetables that increase the hemoglobin level.
But it never struck to me that dehydration can cause all these kinds of disomforts. And my wife matches most of them. Now what we have also to take care is enough intake of water. And I am sure after few days most of these problems will have been reduced. I don't know how much I should thank you for giving me the hint. I think it has really come as a blessing to me. I should thank Him as well.

Not just water, you need electrolytes and that you will find in different fluids/juices/herbs. Do a study on this and you will know what to take. ]

A word of caution though. If after consuming the required amount of water and fluids the symptoms do not disappear then you need to have it checked.
