I Just Had To Take A Look. / myLot

No, looking in this case is not related to someone or some event in progress, this is about a very interesting book l was reading. With five chapters left l decided to peek at the last chapter. Suspense got the better of me and l did something l don't usually do. After finding out who the perpetrator was, l went back to the unread chapters and finished the book. Have you ever done that, when reading a suspenseful book - any book? Suspense novels are not really my favorite reading material but you will find a bit of it in many stories. What kind of novels do you prefer ? Pixabay image.

I've been tempted, but no, I never went to the end to read the last chapter before I finished the book. I like many genres. I think that's why I write many of them. Including mystery.

@Kandae11 Could be. When I get impatient with a book, I'll read the rest of the book before I do anything else, no matter how much I have left to read. I wish it was that easy to write them.
