Hello myLot! I'm back from the doctor, and the one I saw (not my regular provider) said that the sonogram showed that I have a tiny benign cyst on my liver, but that's not what was causing my pain. She sent me for blood test today, and said something about a colonoscopy. Not a fun idea, but if it will help...no date for that, though. So, there's still no answer as to what's causing my pain. Hopefully they'll find out with the other stuff they're doing.

Have you ever had a colonoscopy? I know we’re supposed to have one starting at age 45, but the preparation is always what puts people off. My sister had a colonoscopy in her twenties, and she had several benign polyps. The removal of those helped her an awful lot with her stomach.

@xstitcher Just don’t eat anything greasy after. I took my dad home from his colonoscopy once, and they tell you no greasy food for 24 hours. I could tell he wasn’t going to remember any of our conversation, but he insisted I take him to get a BLT in the car. I wasn’t going to argue with him, so we went to the drive through to Subway. He didn’t remember the conversation, but he remembers the stomach upset.

It is good to get those health problems taken care of for sure.

I hear that's the worst. At least the prep for it is.
