We went to the Drug Store today and I was surprised that there was no Halloween items in their store.
We went to Winco yesterday and they had a whole row of Halloween stuff. The stuff they had was really nice.
In the two stores that we went to there was no candy out yet. That was a surprised.
I remembered one year in September we got Halloween and Valentine candy. I put both of them out. Both sold and were gone by the end of the month. I just loved doing stuff like that and it always sold.

It is odd for stores to start selling Halloween materials in early August in my opinion.

I'd like to say I'm surprised, but I'm not, not really. When you stop to think about it, it's about money. Some places keep candy out year-round, too so it can easily be missed. It's only barely August. Give it time.

@jstory07 How can you tell what's supposed to be "halloween" candy?

@kaylachan That is a good question. You will knew it will be next to the other Halloween candy and the bags are bigger with more candy in them. Usually bite size pieces to.

I think it is weird to have Halloween candy out now in stores.

I love Halloween seeing the children having fun dressing up and getting candy.

I think it's much too early to think about Halloween in August,

Yes it does. When I sold at the Flea market I got lots of Halloween stuff on clearance and left the stuff out year around. One summer in June when I was at the Flea Market selling two women came in that said they lived Halloween year around. They bought everything that I had and did not even ask for it any cheaper that was a good day.

Putting it out early makes for more sales. You'll either forget what you bought and buy more or you'll eat the candy and need more! lol Have a good day.

Dollar General had some when we went in the last time, but it was mostly edible goodies.

It's just August. Everyone is rushing time. I don't like that. I don't want to think about Christmas yet.
