Dixie´s surgery went fine. / myLot

Humberto messaged me that Dixie´s surgery had been fine. He will stay with her tomorrow (she will leave the hospital tomorrow at noon). They have lots of food as Marcela knew of a place where they send ready to eat food. I wrote Humberto that I could go and help. If Humberto will go to work in 2 more days, I could at least go an keep her company or her her to the bathroom. As I see it (but I did not say it) I should go there to see that Dixie stays put in bed. I don´t trust her at all. I know that part of my not walking much is that I don´t need to do it. But if I must do it, I can do it. I hope Dixie´s surgery means that her leg pain lessens. Thank you for your prayers and thoughts.

She may still be in pain for a while, until she recovers. However, this is a good start.

@marguicha She will. That's a guarentee. You can't have surgury and not feel it.

I was wondering how it went, I am glad it’s over. Now comes the hard part—keeping her down long enough to heal!! I’m sure she would love to see you.

I´ll call her tomorrow at noon. I can also go to her house but taking food that I can cook at my house.

Thank you. The doctor already told her that the healing would take a long time. I think that later on she will have to do some therapy.

I hope Dixie is sensible enough to follow her doctor's instructions. Her recovery could be much slower if she doesn't.

I´m keeping my firngers crossed. Dixie is not staying in bed because she is drowsy with the pain pills. But I hope that she will mind the doctor when she feels better.
