5 August - What I'm Thankful for Today

Good evening from Green Bay, Wisconsin, USA. It was a pleasant day today. It's raining right now, but it's light. Yesterday they said thunderstorms. Didn't happen, yet.
It's been a good day today.
I'm thankful for the walk on the trail this morning. I walked the upper industrial and the pond trails. By the time I got back to the apartment, I had 8000+ steps. I'm well over 9K now.
I'm thankful for the chores I did this morning. I ran the dishwasher and later took the garbage down. I really could be a few inches taller. I almost didn't get the recycling in the dumpster. I have a bin I use for the recycling. Tipping it into the dumpster when you're 4'9" isn't easy. I got it done. 
I'm thankful for the work I did on New Horizons and Wilderness Cry. Both are going well.
I'm thankful for the time I spent with you. I enjoy knowing how your day is going. I will miss you when I leave at the end of the month, but it's something I must do.

Lets make the best of the time we have. After all this month has a long way to go yet.
That being said: I am thankful Chilly is still alive and strong enough to get on the bed. He still doesn't want to eat, and it won't be long before he gets weaker. I am trying not to think to much about it. Instead, be thankful for his continued existance and ensuring he knows nothing but love.
I'm thankful for George's continued existance and inproved health as well.

I'm thankful to work on my cousin's diamond painting. But I didn't get to finish it. I hope to finish it tomorrow.

That's impressive with your step counts..keep it up. I always wished that I was an inch shorter. I am 5 feet eight inches and that is always remarked a too tall for Indian standards for female.

@arunima25 It's a perfect height. Both my parents were short. I married a tall man, so my children are tall.

@just4him I wish I could do that. I would have gladly given one or two inches. I have height in my genes. I am happy that I married someone with average height. My daughters are 5 ft 7 inches. I love that height. It's tall but not too tall.
