Bob did not get up from his nap in time for us to get the prescription. So we get it first thing tomorrow. This infection is making him tired and also affecting his appetite. While talking with Nick the Phys. Assistant at the VA I had him look at the PSA test Bob took last month. They monitor him because he had prostate cancer. His PSA is 0.0 the best you can get. We will go pick up the meds tomorrow. Bob will have two weeks of Cipro. He does not run a fever with these infections, so usually we do not treat them, but he is having some pain. So he will get treated. Other than that, it is time for me to go to bed. See all of you tomorrow.

@GardenGerty We are having a little cool spell. It's 65 here right now, on Saturday evening it's supposed to be 51 for the low, very odd for August temps here.

Good luck with that. Being sick can make a lot of people sleepy.

Yes, it is a lot of work for his body to fight the infection. Thanks,

It has been really steady like that for at least 3 years.

That PSA score is top-notch. There is a guy in the village who has just had an operaton for prostrate cancer.

Bob had radiation and in retrospect he wishes he had surgery instead. Many of the things that have plagued him can be traced to the radiation treatment.

We wonder if some of this is caused by some of his other treatments.

@GardenGerty That might be. Many treatments come with side effects in long run.

I'm so glad Bob's PSA is 0.0. I hope the two of you have a good day and that Bob gets rid of his UTI quickly.
