Going to be a long night.

Chilly is still alive and appears to be comfortable, but has started to randomly meow. He also can't get himself around. I put him on the couch next to George's feet, so he can be with him. But, every time he meows, my stomach drops. It's nerve-wracking.
I knew it wouldn't be long, but doesn't make it any easier.

Yeah that can happen to cats, too.

Poor Chilly. I hope he's not suffering. This breaks my heart. I am so, so sorry. I know what it's like to lose a fur baby.

If he can't get himself up and down and around, the end may be very near...but I'm sure you are well aware of that. I know how hard this is, no matter how old the pet, we love them and they are part of our family, it's so hard to lose them.
