My Laptop!

My laptop is not working good again! Between that and being busy. I have not been able to myLot the past few days much. Now I am myLotting from my iphone. But when someone calls me it knocks me off and I lose everything I wrote. Does that happen to you when you myLot from a phone.

That's why I don't use my phone to mylot. If I'm writting a discussion for example and the screen times out, I lose the discussion.

I know! I didn’t but now my laptop doesn’t work good. It keeps freezing up and says myLot and any other site I am on is not responding.

@dfollin Well the freezing is a laptop thing, but the "not responding' is an internet thing.

It is a pain because ic someone calls me while I am typing I lose everything I just typed.

I seldom will Mylot from a phone since typing will be quite inconvenient and slow. I still like to use a computer when I access to Mylot.

I wouldn't think there is any way to save your stuff on Mylot until you are finished. You could finish and then call back whoever is calling you. I guess that is the decision you have to make. I like using my laptop when I Mylot. I do so get annoyed when my laptop doesn't work. I have been very lucky so far. I have had this one since December of 2022.

The notification for the call covers my whole screen. Therefore when I did ignore it but everything still disappeared.

We don't have smartphones so I don't have that problem. I'm sorry your laptop is being obstinate. Have a good weekend.

Well, I guess the memory is consumed by 1 application at a time in your iphone , so all unsaved data are erased. One alternative I could suggest would be in type things in a notepad application and have it autosave every 2-3 minutes. Then copy the content and paste it into mylot. It sounds a lot of work but it would atleast ensure the data is not lost. Another suggestion would be to mylot during a quieter time when you are not going to receive calls or have the plane mode on while mylotting. In case call comes, it would be there in your voice mail. Personally, I do not mylot from smartphone and prefer laptop.Its faster to type .See if these tips help.
