9 August - What I'm Thankful for Today

I am thankful for my ability to share news stories here as well as completing surveys for pay.

This sounds like a very enjoyable day. I have been helping Jay carry things back and forth, for work on our property. The power mower can be used around the edges, to cut grass. I stopped by the library, to return a book.

I am thankful that Chilly crossed rainbow bridge peacefully and with his loved ones near. I am thankful I was able to put him in the ground next to his best friend, Precious. I also got two out of the four tube feeds done as well.

I'm thankful that my husband's cough seems to be better. Have a good weekend.

That's good to hear, as always..... Guess I am glad I can go get some sleep now if that counts. It's past 2:30 and I am still up.

I had a very LONG day today, it started a t 5:30 this morn with nothing to eat cause I had lab work to get done, but 1st I had to take the dog to the vet at 10 so I had to do my lab AFTER we got done with the vet & by that time my sugar started going down hill min by min. By the time I got to the hosp for the labs I was off bal, didn't think I was going to be able to make it where I had to go to get the lab work done, but I did, so I got them done by this time it's already after 12 & I hadn't eaten since 11 pm LAST NIGHT, so we went to a buffet to eat & i wasn't feeling so hot I barely ate, but I did eat I took a short nap on the way home. We stopped at the mail box & I got a unexpected letter saying 1 of my health ins's owes me 185 $ since 2021 SAY WHAT? yeah I was shocked like why haven't they sent the $ ? so I had to call them to find out what I have to do to get it & now it's a waiting game. The vet where I took our dog says to put her on puppy food being as old as she is & the 2 lumps on her would be risky to put her through any surgery to just leave them at her age 15 yrs old, but he did give her the rabies shots, cut her nails & cost a 157$ by the time I got home & seeing the letter, I was fully awake & on the phone getting that out of the way. Now it's almost time to take my 3 last meds of the day & after I feed up the dogs & fish I'm taking me a nap where I can sleep as long as I want or until I feel like getting up ! So that's been my day, I have no idea what I have going the wkend, there's no telling.

Thankful to see my sick friend today. She had pneumonia and bronchitis both. She is starting to get stronger again

I am glad you got a walk in. I am thankful that I LOOK FORWARD to Guitar Center.

I'm thankful that my boyfriend was coming down. I am also thankful that the storms were too bad and I had power.

They haven't shown much of the equestrian events here which was a pity.

I am very grateful for the health that God has given to my body. These past few days I have often accompanied my mother to the hospital. It is truly sad that many cannot experience the joy of health. I am grateful that we can all still experience it.

The horses are certainly beautiful animals to watch. Are you going to be disappointed now that the games are about over? I’m thankful that it wasn’t overwhelmingly hot today.

Lots to be thankful for tomorrow I order my groceries and I have two $10 gift cards for Walmart,
