Until a decade, paper checks had huge role to play in finanical transactions. Most of us made our payments or received payments in terms of paper checks.
With a number of fraud usage of paper checks , new improvements resulted in digital payments. With modernized technology , digital payment systems improved and has become more prevalent use of payments.
Personally , I used a paper check 3 years ago for a payment which could have time if done through digital means. I still have my paper checks but do not see much use of the same atleast for the immediate future.
So,when was the last time you used a paper check/cheque?

Thinking back, the last time I cashed a check was in 2019. It was for a rent payment. After COVID-19, we switched to digital payments for convenience.

I wrote a check three months ago. My apartment complex is nuts with how they want the rent paid. Sometimes they want it paid online, but then their server is down. Other times, a check is what they prefer. Just a few months ago they changed it to everyone paying their rent via a cashiers check, so now I have the inconvenience of doing that. It drives me nuts.

Digital payments are easy for all of us . Well, paper checks seem to stay and can be sued in such situations. Thanks for sharing!
