In Jamaica, if you have some issues in your community, don't bother trying to contact your 'councillor'; he probably doesn't even know the borders of his district.
Don't waste time trying to get in touch with your Member of Parliament, he's too busy chasing skirts, money, and enjoying benefits.
You want something done? Contact TVJ.
When TVJ comes out with its crew, filming the crap roads, the uncollected garbage, the dangling wires, you can put your pot on the fire.
For those issues will be taken care of, post haste.
One thing our corrupt 'leaders' don't like is bad publicity.

@jaylar Ah. I was a victim on an interesting crime here in the Bay Area. It was based partially on my gender/religion/ethnicity. The authorities would do nothing about it. I have not yet gone to the press about it. I am waiting for the right time.

I think some form of corruption is found everywhere. I wonder why tourists would flock to a country with " crap roads , uncollected garbage and dangling wires"? Wires l supposed which dangle since the passing of hurricane Beryl. They flock here because you have painted a small part of the picture and left the best blank...

many tourist come and are locked into 'all inclusives' so don't know what is going on. The Road from Port Antonio to Ocho Rios is baad.. But! from Ochi to Mobay... the driver sat in 100 mph because the road was like a table top. Why? Tourist Route
