Got everything done yet again. / myLot

After Chilly died, I couldn't bring myself to takle the bed. The day I would've done it, I was digging a hole. Due to the heat, and the fact that's not exactly something I'd done before, it took most of my energy and most of the day. After that I just didn't have it in me to do anything. I kept up on the dishes and regular laundry, I even ensured that George had something dry to lie on when he slept on the couch. I didn't want to throw myself off my schedule, so I decided to wait two weeks, which was today. I also flipped the matress (something I'd been thinking about doing for a while). Having clean sheets is going to be good. I also know where most of the pea came from, Chilly. For the past two weeks, our bed has been dry.

Sweet Chilly. I can’t imagine how much you must miss him. I find myself sporadically wanting to ask about him, and then I remember.

I do miss him from time to time. But, I also enjoy not having a cat under foot. At the same time, if you want to ask, I don't mind talking about some of his antics. Hell, I have several videos on Tiktok I took of the cats over the years, most of them being Chilly. Now that I think about it, I think in one of the videos I captured his purr.

@AmbiePam Yeah, they are. EEspecially the one with Chilly's purr. It's hard to capture a cat's purr.

I am trying to catch up on things here. When things get behind, everything piles up and gets behind. Got 3 loads of laundry done today--still have to fold the last one and put away, but they are clean!! Hang in there!

@kaylachan I have done that, as well! I prefer to do it and get it all over with though and put away. Here lately doing one load is just a waste!

I am one of those people who've let laundry sit in the dryer for three days because I couldn't be bothered. I'm just glad we'll have clean sheets to sleep on.
