Did a little painting....

I hope to make some simple ornaments for the craft show in November. It finally cooled down enough to go out and paint, so I put a coat of gold on one of the tongue depressors. The first one I tried to put a hole in one end with an aul, but that just cracked it. I tried next with a thumbtack, which cracked it a bit too--but not too bad that I can't cover it with the paint. I still need to be careful. Of course, I can only do one side at a time--and I'll have to do more than one coat to make the gold paint stand out. I'll make this work. Lord willing, tomorrow I will be more awake to concentrate on things. Hope that all is well with you in your part of myLot land!
