I've been making cards today. (31/8/2024)

I didn't go to see my Mum in hospital today. I stayed at home to make some cards instead. Because my Mum is in hospital and hasn't been able to post any cards for people, I said I'd make some happy belated birthday cards for Mum to send to them when she gets back. The first one I did was of a vintage car, and it's for Pastor Steve. The sentiment I put on the front of it actually says Belated Birthday Wishes. The sentiment inside says Sending you lots of love. The second one is for a lady who used to come to church. In fact the last time I saw her she was still a child! She's grown up now with a child of her own. Her name is Heather. My Mum still sends her and her Dad birthday cards! She knows her birthday card is going to be late because I explained on Facebook messenger. Hers is the card that is pictured above. The actual flower picture is layered up like decoupage, but I didn't do that today. That was done with several others ready for when they were needed a while ago. The sentiments were the same as on the first one inside and out, but just in a different colour. The third late birthday card that I did today was of someone riding a bicycle. It's for a guy who used to come to church a while back and Mum still sends him cards too! I think I recall Mum said he likes bikes so I did one with a bike on because of that. The sentiments - same again but a different colour. I've also done another card, and this one has got birds on. This girl/lady is the daughter of someone we used to know from church, but I don't know how old she is. She could be a teenager by now, but I don't know. I thought the picture of the birds was suitable for all ages. I haven't put any sentiments on this yet because her birthday isn't till the end of next week. If Mum comes out of hospital in time I'll put on a normal Happy Birthday, if not I'll put on Belated Birthday Wishes like on the others, we'll just have to wait and see. I've got some more cards to make yet for the rest of September, but these ones were the most urgent. I need to get some gold mirri card too as I'm running out of that. I'm trying to do as many cards as possible with the silver mirri card! What have you lot been getting up to today? I hope you are all well. Have a great night.
