We finally went to a Peruvian restaurant..

My friends came to pick me up at around 3 pm. I was so hungry that I was almost fainting so I started to munch some bread at home Humberto remembered a Peruvian restaurant where we had once gone that was near my house. The dish I prefer there is an octopus with olive sauce. Before the dishes came they brought the most delicious buns with a couple of sauces. That was wonderful because Humberto ordered pisco sour for us and if I hadn´t had those buns I would have got drunk.

I told them to skip the dessert there as I had cake. So here I made coffee (got out my best Colombian coffee) and 2 pieces of cake for each. When the left I went to bed immediatly and had the longest nap ever.

So although the sun went to sleep, I´m now fully awake. I´m slowly reading again East of Eden. I´m going to read a bit now. See you later.

You might be awake for long if you had a long nap. I was awake till midnight yesterday ( I had a long nap in the afternoon)and wondered if I would be awake in time for work. But glad that I could wake up with my alarm. I am at work. My sessions would start in another 15 minutes.

I usually go to sleep after midnight. But these last days I have felt sleepy earlier. I think that it has to be with the anti allergic pill I have taken.

@arunima25 Finally I stopped taking them. I´ll have to go to a skin doctor. The pills did not help.

In my country they offer the Chilean and the Peruvian pisco sour. I prefer the Peruvian one that you can only have in a good Peruvian restautant. I think that the lemon is different.

@marguicha We used to go to a Peruvian restaurant in Milan where they served pisco sour. There are none here.

I am glad you got to go out to eat and spend time with them. It's good to enjoy a nap, too. I remember reading East of Eden, but it's been a long time. I will have to re-read it again sometime.

I read East of Eden a long time ago, even rereading some parts. Then I lent the book and they never returned it. Some days ago, looking for another book, I found Claudia´s copy in my shelves.

I did. On talking with my brother he said that all Peruvian restaurants were bad. I think that he is wrong but those are the sort of things that I don´t bother to answer.

I was. At a moment I just had to go to the kitchen for a piece of bread with lots of butter. And at the restaurant I ordered another piece of their delicious bread because I ate the first bun in seconds.

@JudyEv If I were at home, I would have eaten earlier. That´s why I had to eat bread at home and 2 buns at the restaurant before they came with the meal. Dixie told me then that if I ate so much bread I would not be able to eat my lunch. But the dish is really a first dish and not a main one. It is cold but filling. So it was perfect in spite of the "gobbling"
