We drove up to Seven Feathers today.
We did not go to gamble. We went swimming in their over size pool. A friend invited us there to swim and eat at the sea food buffett.
They had all the crab legs that you can eat. Which were really good.
I just love seafood and when I can swim and eat a nice seafood meal I am really happy.
Our friend retired Friday from his job. He worked until now at 72 to buy himself and his wife a new car. His wife died in her sleep. I do not know if the hospital found out why. And i am not going to ask him. Really sad.
I was surprised he invited us to celebrate with him. He is happy to have retired but sad he is alone now.

It was really sad. His daughter wants him to move in with her. But he wants to live alone as long as he can. His daughter has no children living at home anymore so he is welcome there.
He did tell her to sell her house which is smaller and move in with him.
So I wonder what the two of them will do.

Sad for your friend... Sort of like O. Henry's tale of The Gift of the Magi.

Just when he had plans to spend time at home with his wife and he loses her. Very sad.

I hope many will shower him with love and support. That is so sad to be left alone by the people you love the most and offered everything that you worked for.
