At first I thought my grandson was kidding. He often comes in with some funny quip or body manipulation to make me laugh. No, this time he was serious. IT WAS RAINING! I have only been waiting for what seemed like months since there has been a true storm. Occasionally I see on Weather One that there's been a trace in the wee hours of morning. I immediately had him open the windows. There was a bit of rain at first. That sound of pitter patting rain drops. Even a flash of lightning and the sound of thunder near by. But, then-- holy smokes! The loudest, extremist CLAP of thunder that i think i have ever heard. Lightning. Whoa! It always invigorates and excites me. Thank you gods! Lightning and thunder-- Mother Nature at her finest.

We could use some rain here. None really in the forecast. Have a good day.
