The big crash caused by CrowdStrike was due to the fact 'everybody' uses Windows. There isn't much choice in that field of operating systems for the average point and click user, but there are when it comes to Browsers, and a few other apps. Most hackers assume the browser is Firefox or Chrome or Edge. If you don't use them but others, you erect one 'wall'. I have always used Browsers that are 'unpopular' which makes me harder to crack.
