Today's painting projects.

This (above) is one of two drawings I've done ready to paint today. They are both going to be watercolour and they are for the London Art Course again. This one (above) is going to be detailed, but the other one is supposed to be Impressionistic. I didn't know what that was so I had to Google it! I'm still not too sure now, but I think it just means not so much detail! On the other one I'm doing a dark sky which merges into a sunset colour at the bottom. There is a large lampost in the foreground which hopefully won't be seen much because it should blend into the dark background of trees and bushes. There are other lamposts around that I hope to convey simply in dots of yellow colour, but we'll see how we go! This one (above) as I said is going to be more detailed. I'm going to do a very light sky with clouds, and then distant hills and bushes in the background with lots of detail in the houses and the posts on the right. I was thinking of adding salt to the road to add texture. We'll see how that turns out! I'll be sure to show you them when they are finished. What are you lot getting up to today?
