How tall can trees be?

These Redwood trees were apparently imported from California to Australia and planted to more than 100 years ago create this mini forest in a secluded spot. It has a picnic area, a creek and this small 'forest'. Nature seems to have accepted these trees and the surrounding areas continue to be wild and lush. No mobile signal and dirt roads mean it's well protected and thriving - no littering and a few dozen people just having quiet fun. This turned out to be a lovely spot to chill and have lunch.

Those are the best kinds of places to find. The karri trees in WA's south-west are known for their height too.

It seems so odd to have them imported.

I saw those Redwoods in Calif once. It was magical like being in a fairy tale forest. They are certainly hundreds of feet tall. Some palm trees seem pretty tall as well.
