Hello again, myLot!

Went for a walk before it got too terribly hot.
I see a little note in the corner of my screen that supposedly the temperatures are going to drop. Huh--like from 101 to100 degrees?
I suppose some is better than none.
Before I started on my walk, I opened the door and there was a package outside. I knew what was in it, (see photo) so I put it inside and started my walk.
Anyway, I was about to turn a corner and head home near the end when I saw a neighbor with her dog across the street, so I went over to say hello and wound up walking home with them.
I got home and tried to upload a couple of photos, but my phone froze, so I was dealing with that, and forgot to write down the time I got home. I think I got in about 20-30 minutes, so that wasn't bad. Definitely not trying a walk this afternoon. It's 10:33 by my computer clock, and 83 degrees F by the little thermometer in the corner of my computer screen.
Right now I'm going to check the low income housing site and make a couple of phone calls.
Hope all is well with you and that you are staying cool in your part of myLot land!

Well, I actually don't use the air conditioner because I don't need to add extra money to my bills. My apartment is only at 75 degrees right now, which for me is tolerable.

@xstitcher Oh! I have to run mine. It gets too humid if I don’t. Now, in the winter I don’t run my heater much because I can take the cold. My bill then is really low.

@AmbiePam When I'm cold in the winter I just throw on a sweater or something.
Yikes, you can take the cold? I'm guessing it gets colder there than it does here! Humidity--of course. Didn't think of that. Spent a week of July 1981 in Missouri, that was enough of that kind of humidity for me!
