Is it too controversial? Do I care?

@AmbiePam and I talked briefly about it a little earlier this afternoon so I thought I would see what the rest of myLot thinks and what side of the fence personal beliefs align them with.
I have been watching Josh Gates special series In search of a Yeti and while it is interesting to see them do all this searching and try to use science to prove if there is in fact a yeti, swamp ape or bigfoot...I still don't.
So I figured I would pose the question to the rest of Lot-Land.
So what say you?
@porwest, @FourWalls, @moffittjc, real interested on your takes on it. Especially since Jeff lives in prime swamp ape country.

@AmbiePam The facial expressions Harry makes throughout the movie are hilarious. And he acts like he is almost one of us, but bigger. Such a funny movie.

Uh, they're called skunk apes around here because they smell! haha
My thought it, we have infrared cameras on our military and police helicopters that can clearly identify suspects with great detail, yet they can't use them to find Bigfoot in the woods? I would love to believe that the big guy exists, but don't you think they would have definitive proof by now?

Exactly, something that big would of been caught already.
But people I think just want something to believe in, unicorns, aliens, a decent president. They just need something gto believe in.

@thislittlepennyearns You made me laugh with your decent president comment. Yes, we do have to believe in something. Although I think we'll discover a real unicorn long before we have a decent president.

@thislittlepennyearns Another great show I used to watch. Is it still airing new episodes?

@moffittjc Aliens and bigfoot are different.
Which is funny you mention that, because we are watching The Secret of Skin walker ranch right now.

I am with @moffittjc answer, with all the things out now I would think there would be definite proof now.

We have security cameras everywhere, doorbell cameras, cameras on our cell phones. satellites that can pinpoint a dime laying on a sidewalk, yet no one can capture footage of an 8-10 foot tall creature? Call me crazy, but if Bigfoot ever did exist I think he's gone extinct!

I believe in Bigfoot. To many people have seen him not to believe in him.

It's a nice fantasy, but I think if these things actually existed, we'd have more solid proof considering how long these things have lived as urban legends. Like the Loch Ness Monster and so many other creatures we like to believe are out there, most of it is just fantasy, although we do still occasionally discover new species from time to time. Nonetheless, people will continue to be fascinated by the idea, and some will even believe they exist no matter what. The only hope is that now with all of these great phone cameras we can get something better than the usual blurry, grainy picture. Even then, how could we know if it wasn't AI generated?

Well, there is only like five to ten percent of the ocean discovered. So there could be a whole bunch of species that we have no clue about. But they are going to be more "real" than Nessie. Although out of all of them, Nessie is probably the most believeable.
