My Fascination With Vampires

Vampires have always fascinated me. I think it started with the afternoon TV serial "Dark Shadows" back in 1966. They live forever, have no shadows, have telepathic powers, and they are always cool. What more can a girl ask for? I want to be one. It would solve all of my problems.
Thank you, Bram Stoker! Did you know there was an earlier novella on the subject entitled "Camilla" about a female vampire? It was written 25 years earlier.
There have been many, many vampire movies down through the years. Christopher Lee and Peter Cushing did nine movies together about vampires. Cheezy at best there were many more. Thinking about it I realized that out of all those takes on vampires there were very few that I really enjoyed and found to have any realism and good production. I have made a list of 10.
1. Dracula (1931) the best Dracula was portrayed by Bela Lugosi.
2. Dark Shadows (1966) was badly produced but still holds true today in the storyline
3. Angel (1999) best storyline of any of them.
4. Moonlight (2007) only one season but had a great storyline and could have gone further.
5. Blade (1998) is only a trilogy but so good they are coming out with #4.
6. Bram Stoker's Dracula (1992) The informative of any of them and well-produced.
7. Anne Rice's Interview with the Vampire and Queen of the Damned (1994 and 2002) I wish they had done more. The tv series is crap.
8. 30 Days of Night (2007) The most violent and realistic I've seen.
9. Renfield (2023) Nicolas Cage is good at anything he does.
10. Underworld (2003) The imagery and uniqueness sets it apart.
So, what do you think of my list? Any others you'd add? Do you like them?

I haven't watched that many about vampires. Have seen Dracula 1931. Also read Interview with the vampire.

I don't care for many of them. Just blood doesn't do it for me.

Wasn't it? I did too. Nic is such a genius when it comes to acting.
