Good morning, dear friends.

I must confess that now that spring is here you are second in my line of greetings.
I first open my window to look at the glorious sun and leave it open. The air outside is so much better than the air inside the house!
A second later, Luna hears the window being opened and comes. Then I greet her. How are you today, my sweet? I ask her in Spanish. She pulls back the curtain and answers me. She is fine. As she sees that I´m not getting up yet, she goes back to her quarters again. But we had said hello to each other.
Only then I start my first post to you all.
Today the news are about one of the President´s closest members of his gabinet who is being accused of rape.
Lately, after the Me too movement started, a lot of people have accused important men of rape everywhere in the world.
I look at the face of the man (quite young and attractive) and ask myself why would he have to rape a woman. He could have anyone just for asking. He has a wife and chidren but as he is an authority, the media are showing him in the news before there is a fair trial so that he might be found innocent.
After the Me too movement started I have thought a lot about all this. Rapes continue. Here they give 3 years of jail to men who abuse of minors. I´d give them more or better still, I´d let them go out after cutting their "parts" so that they can never do any harm.
In my country it also happens once in a while that a man kills his wife. Either they are in a fight or,worse, he wants to be with someone else.
But I would NOT let the media tear people apart before they are judged. Those are no news men and women. They are vultures.
What´s your idea about this? Have you thought about it?

There´s no law that makes them pay for some dirt they throw on innocent people.

Talking about cutting 'parts' do you remember the Bobbitt story?

The media can be a problem. Things like that can make it harder to get a fair trial

That´s how I feel about it. And the media is never punished for spreading fake news.

I think people like that who seem to have good lives and then rape women are mentally incapacitated. The wife should divorce him right away.Alos men who rape women should be locked up and the key thrown away.

In my country punishment is very light. But not only here. I have read about Jeffrey Epstein. Nothing was ever said about the several rich men that went with him to his island. The only one mentioned was Prince Andrew,

Only 3 years after abusing minors? That's not enough!
I'm glad you and Luna greet the day together. Have a good one.

@LindaOHio I think that only one innocent person is found guilty, nobody should die. But evil people should be put away forever.
