How About a Reboot?

In 2007 I came across a show on CBS that became a favorite of mine. A vamp detective who is also a vampire in San Francisco. A lot of retro and art deco backgrounds along with great special effects made this one special. The characters weren't bad either. Alex O'Loughlin(who went on to do Hawaii 5-0) played Nick St. John, Sophia Myles as his love interest, Beth and Jason Dohring(from Veronica Mars) as a fellow vampire. It had a great romantic storyline. The writers were great. But, it only lasted one season. This was before the CW. I really think that if CW had been around it may have had a comeback. When I found out they weren't bringing it back for another season I panicked. This can't happen but it sure did. It was such a good show. Great writing and great effects. And I have always been a real fan of a good romance. And I did try to do something. I wrote to the channel. This was before the internet had all the programs and apps it has now. My attempts were futile. I was so excited when about a week ago I found this series on Plex. Of course, I binge-watched it and was so glad to have found it. I loved it all over again. I wish they would change the name and reboot it. I'd love to see where the writers would go with the storyline.
