Foldable phones, yay or nay?

We have been watching a movie about upcoming phone tech.
They have been talking about the fact that Samsung has foldable phones, but iPhone hasn't made them yet.
iPhone seems to put a little more effort into their phones and tries to (for the most part) get rid of bugs before they push something out. So it doesn't surprise me that they haven't come out with a folding phone yet.
That got me thinking.... I have looked at the foldable phones and decided that they were not practical for me because I am rough on phones and I just know even with a screen protector or case I would get something stuck in the screen when it was shut and scratch the thing. But it also got me wondering about other people and what they thought about foldable phones.
Does anyone actually have one of the folding phones? Do you like it?

Its funny because cell phones used to be foldable then they became smart phones and no one wanted them to fold again.
