My Wynne Evans CD and book came today. (See picture above.)
The CD is actually the first album that he brought out in 2011. The one I had before was the second one he brought out in 2013. I just got them in the wrong order! This new one I got today is called A Song in my Heart.
The book about him is in Welsh and it is called O Gaerfyrddin i Go Compare, which means From Carmarthen to Go Compare. The main text is in Welsh, and it is presented in a question and answer style. Within the text, some of the Welsh words are written in bold. Then at the bottom of the page the bold letters are listed with their English translations.
I can't WAIT to listen to my new CD and read my new book in Welsh. I will read it through, noting the letters in bold. Then I will get out my Welsh/English dictionary and look up the other words!
Can you speak any languages other than your native language? (And English, if your native language is not English?) Would you like to learn a foreign language?
I hope you are all well and enjoying your evening.

I have limited knowledge of speaking Spanish as my second language being born and raised in the former Canal Zone in Panama.

@sharonelton It is not too difficult because the alphabet is the same as English except for some emphasis on letters. I guess the first step would be to learn the grammar. If your curious about it please look at this link,
This free Latvian course is like no other. Beautiful, simple and super effective. For kids and adults.

I am glad I speak English well though I am not a native speaker. Audiobooks and movies have immensely contributed to my fluency in English!

@luisadannointed Yes, I know what you mean. I've had that with my Welsh. You get busy with other things and it gets forgotten. But I've started again now to try and learn Welsh.

@sharonelton I speak French (used to live in Paris) and can manage fairly well with Italian and Irish. Also have a fair bit of Tumbuku from my childhood in Malawi.

Talking to Timbuktu I used to think it meant something very bad until I leant it was nothing that bad.

Wow! You are very bi-lingual.
I learned French when I was at school but I've probably forgotten most of it. How did you find Tumbuku?

@JudyEv That's lovely. I've always liked the Welsh language but only relatively recently have I started trying to learn it. I've always wondered why they didn't teach us Welsh in School rather than French because Wales is attached to us and France isn't!

I hope you enjoy your new book and CD. I used to speak a little Italian when I was younger. I always wanted to learn Spanish. Have a good day.

Yes, I know what you mean. It was the same with me with French. I learned that in school too, but I'm definitely not fluent, and I've probably forgotten most of what I did learn anyway. I wish I could learn better with my Welsh too.

As for me, I can speak spanish fluently. Audiobooks, Songs and Movies have really helped me though I happened to learn it as a second language while undertaking my undergraduate degree way back in 2007-2011.
