I didn't get a picture again. But I did manage to get a picture of she child making corn bread. So that's a win still. At least I think so.
Tonight I made homemade chili, and we had cornbread.
I can make homemade cornbread, I just didn't feel like tonight and made Jiffy. Which is pretty close to homemade anyway.
So that is what we had tonight. I also took a honey baked ham out of the deep freeze for Friday night. That's right we are going to do a holiday meal on Friday. Don't like it, don't bite it. That's some TikTok chicks thing she says when she does her recipe videos.
Anyhooooo.
What went on your table tonight?

It's good that she is helping in the kitchen, and that she will be able to cook when she is out on her own. Some kids are never taught to cook, and that often doesn't end well. Good job, she child!
We love chili. But I made it last week and there is still a bit in the freezer, I think next up will have to be ham and beans and cornbread, I love that meal.

Baked ham sounds really good, it's been some time since I've had that. It's always good for leftovers and sandwiches, too.

@thislittlepennyearns Me. Cabbage is delicious. Cooked or raw. You mean to tell me you don't like cole slaw or egg rolls?

For dinner I made a stir fry. Just chopped up some cabbage and kielbasa and put that in the wok with some orange pepper and onions, added some teriyaki sauce and served it over a bed of hot, white rice. Yummy.
