What's this on my lawn

With rains ceasing and the sun up, I've had some weird stuff grow on my grass lawn. This looks like grass, but is not looking good on the lawn as it grows taller. Is this going to choke the grass on the lawn and take over?

It's too many to pull out. Let's see what grows back. I just mowed the lawn.

Looks like a weed. Pull it out by the roots or spray it. Have a good day.

There's too many to pull out. I'll see if there is a selective weedicide that won't harm the grass
