India is celebrating Deepawali - festival of lights. It is supposed to be festival of lights but what we experience is crackers - louder the better - louder an indication that you are richer than others.
While we were living in the city we always took a holiday and travelled where there would be no crackers.
The most affected are dogs They just cannot tolerate the noise and they run helter skelter hiding hoping they will not hear the noise.
