Red roses for most are a symbol of love. But there are many others such as tulips and carnations.
On my engagement my then fiance brought me a huge bouquet of carnations. My heart started palpitating to see him with that bouquet.
He later told me that he had heard me talk about my favourite flowers were carnations.
He has always been thoughtful If we had an argument he would end it by saying
'After the storm comes the calm, after the calm comes the sunshine' with two cups of tea that he would prepare himself.
What is marriage without love?

that's sweet 
i don't have a favorite flower, but i like flowers in general and my husband also gets me flowers every now and then
