I just watched the weather news. It's so sad and bad.

From 12nn to 5pm today, the typhoon is expected to make a landfall at the northern Luzon. But tonight another typhoon will be entering the Philippine Area of Responsibility. According to the forecast, it is expected to make a landfall by Saturday night to Southern Luzon. As you can see in the photo, top left typhoon Nika just passed us, the present typhoon Opel (middle) will make a landfall anytime now and the another one (lower right) Man-yi is expected to enter my country tonight. Please pray my countrymen.

It is quite strange that typhoons occur days apart, even though we are in typhoon season. Fortunately, the storm has avoided my location and I have never experienced any negative effects. Nevertheless, I felt sorry for the areas that were severely damaged by the typhoon. Many people in my home province of Bicol have been flooded as a result of the recent severe flooding. I am hoping they will be able to become normal again. Christmas is difficult to celebrate if you have not fully recovered from the catastrophe.

@rakski I can only imagine how difficult life must be for those who were struck multiple times. Seeing my southern provincemates in this situation right now is really disheartening. Simply put, I am glad none of my family members were hurt. Despite the flooding, they were all safe.

I am happy to know your area was spared. True that is will be difficult since it is nearing Christmas and one after another is too much
