Hey Dude

My wife was clearing out an area of our guest bedroom that had a few things piled up, and there was a Hey Dude shoebox that she set on the kitchen table as she planned to break it down and take it to the recycling bin in the garage.
But of course, Grayson would have none of this and staked a claim.
As some might say, where there is a box, you will find a cat who has made its way into it. And Grayson is certainly known for that. Moreso than Cal, for whatever reason, but Cal will find his way into bigger boxes.
I can't for the life of me understand the attraction. You can spend good money on beds for a cat and they won't go near it. But put out a box? It's home to them.
"Hey dude," I told him. "That box wasn't for you." Apparently, he disagrees.

Cats think they are royal, might have something to do with certain cultures revering them for millennia. It's gone to their heads I guess

I had a cat that when he seen a Pepsi box he would
put he's big self in it & sleep, & he was a black & white
cat that you couldn't see till you picked up the box.

Hey, Grayson knows he's a cool dude. You reminded me of a friend's cat who was found sleeping on an empty frozen pizza box and the name of the pizza could be clearly seen it said Devour,

Our little cat would squeeze into an ice-cream tub. I sometimes wondered if it kept her curled up without her having to tense muscles or whatever.

such a pretty boy
and i guess they just love boxes and random places. my cat would sleep on the edge of the table. i doubt that position was comfortable for him
